Both tools let you change the output with a complete Video Editor that lets you crop (cut off screen parts), trim (select start and end points of a clip to convert), control brightness, contrast, saturation, add effects like emboss, old film, gray, negative, or add a watermark while watching a preview compared to the original video in two simultaneous screens.
You can also set output parameters like encoder, resolution, frame rate, bit rate, audio channels, etc. or keep the default settings in predefined profiles for the most common players and devices.
